What Homeowners Say About Richard

Reviews left by Puigdomenech Contracting Group customers on Google, shown word for word.

Richard was able to help me throughout the entire process. I have no experience in these types of claims but Richard was very patient in answering my questions and concerns. He gets the job done like he guarantees. I've referred him to my neighbor after showing my roof off and he's about to get his fixed also. Richard is your go to guy when it comes to replacing your roof. His crew was able to uninstally 27 solar panels and put them back on with no issues, taking over and guaranteing workmanship on the panels also.

My wife and I were new home owners at the time and very afraid of being burned by the insurance company and any roofers we selected. Puigdomenech came recommended to me by my neighbor, and I am thankful they were. Naturally, my wife and I very wary of any potential scammers, but at the same time we were ignorant of the process. Richard, with Puigdomenech, was very patient in explaining the process we could expect when submitting a claim to have the roof repaired. As further assurance, everything was laid out in hand written contracts, in plain English without all that "Legal-ese." The actual roof work was done quickly and looks fantastic. In the years we have had the roof I have not seen a single issue. Unfortunately for Puigdomenech, our insurance company was less than kind and sent these roofers on a years long ordeal in an attempt to obtain final payment. Puigdomenech did not wish to involve my wife and I for fear of stressing out the new home owners, and we thank them for that. But I am pleased to say we were able to obtain final payment (and no longer support that insurance company). Long story short, we highly recommend Puigdomenech Contracting. They are clearly a reputation and reliability first company. I would definitely recommend them for any contracting needs.

Roofing & Hail Claim Questions

Do you charge for a roof inspection?

No. The inspection is free. We get on the roof, show you what we found, and tell you whether it needs a repair, a replacement, or nothing at all.

Do you do insurance roof work?

Yes, after storms. We explain each step of a claim before it happens and can be at the house when the adjuster looks at the roof.

Who decides whether to file a claim?

You do. The claim is between you and your insurance company. The adjuster works for your insurer and makes the assessment, and if your insurer approves the work, we build to the approved scope.

Which areas do you serve?

San Antonio and Converse in Bexar County, where hail hit on September 11, 2026, and Laredo in Webb County, where our office is and where hail fell on September 4 and 5.

Do you work on roofs without an insurance claim?

Yes. We replace and repair roofs that homeowners pay for directly, at competitive shingle prices.

Can you take my solar panels off and put them back?

Yes. When the roof under your panels needs work, our crew takes the panels off, does the roof, and puts them back.
